Winter’s End

Today I feel like singing Julie Andrews style:

Sunshine and puddles,

Blue skies, we’re smitten!

Sacks full of apples,

Springtime in Britain.

These are a few of my fa-a-a-a-a-vourite things!

Vast fields of crocuses and daffodils are sure signs of early spring here, when after months of utter deluge and storms, Nature pops her head out cheekily and asks: “Missed me much?” And how could we not, my darling?

Help me welcome Her Daintiness to the Kew Gardens, one of London’s many delightful parks. I won’t make you sing, I promise!
